Joana Lobo Anta

is a talented and versatile Portuguese artist.

Her varied creativity, in addition to painting, also finds itself through music, dance, performances, and writing. Her greatest interest, though, may be painting; in fact, the artist's earliest memories involve the art form.

After completing classes that allowed her to develop a high level of technical proficiency, she continued her studies in art and graphic design at the Universities of Lisbon (IADE - Portugal) and Perugia (Accademia di Belli Arti PIETRO VANNUCCI - Italy).

Her fearless approach to the female issue almost seems to imply a spiritual notion of sensuality as an integral component of a compelling uniqueness. Her work displays an intriguing sense of self-determination, a true personal manifesto that calls for both acceptance and a proud demonstration.
